Becky started work as a kennel hand at Battersea Dogs & Cats home in Old Windsor and it was during her time there she gained a vast array of knowledge in dog and cat care, behaviour and general health problems. With her obvious passion for animal care Becky then began her search for a Veterinary Nurse training vacancy and eventually found a placement at a mixed and orthopaedic referral practice where she completed her NVQ training. She became head nurse at this practice soon after qualifying and also trained as an A1 Assessor. Becky also worked in a large, small animal practice in Coventry who ran open surgeries so she never knew what would come through the door and was often found in the orthopaedic theatres there. She has recently gained her Diploma in Animal Physiotherapy with a merit so she will now be taking physiotherapy patients here at Hawksmoor and also has her own physiotherapy business.

Becky is also the midlands co-ordinator for the BVNA organizing seminars and events across the region for the midlands Veterinary Nurses.

Becky also is the proud owner of a Chihuahua called Pascal and a ‘gruffolo’ (Shih-Tzu cross Pug) called Dora.  Both of Becky’s dogs are an integral part of the Hawksmoor Canine Team.
