For well over twenty years, Mick Lipscombe has been involved in the development of opening and managing new leisure facilities for Local Authorities throughout the UK.
Having left local Government in 1986 Mick was asked to join Olin Corporation as Area Technical Manager. A very demanding position, providing technical back-up and training for commercial pool customers, and retail pool dealers throughout Britain.
Mick Lipscombe works very closely with his colleagues in the USA and is considered a leading light in product evaluation, new product development and trouble-shooting.
This knowledgeable man has a reputation for his experience and expertise in developing the concept of Water Management.
He has been a valued member of the Institute of Sport and Recreation Management for many years and was awarded a fellowship in 1999.
Hawksmoor recognised the benefits of introducing a course relating to Water Management and invited Mick Lipscombe to join the Hawksmoor team in order to stay at the leading edge of product development in the Hydrotherapy market today.
