Since declaring to her Mum at the age of four that she wanted to become a Vet, Emma has worked tirelessly to achieve her dream. In 2000, she graduated from the University of Wales, College of Cardiff with a degree in Zoology. She then went to read Veterinary Medicine at Cambridge University and achieved her dream.
Emma has been working in general veterinary practice for the past 5 years since graduating from Cambridge Vet School in 2005. She has treated Sue’s dogs throughout this time and has become a trusted colleague and friend. Emma is responsible for the veterinary care of the residents of Drayton Manor Zoo.
Emma has strong interests in alternative/complementary therapies including acupuncture, chiropractic treatment and physiotherapy/hydrotherapy and is an asset to the Hawksmoor team.
