Sue Hawkins first met Sara when she came along to work part-time in the Hawksmoor Kennels and Cattery whilst studying for her A Levels.
Realising her desire for working within the Veterinary profession, Sara joined the team at Oakfield Veterinary Group based at their Atherstone surgery, where she completed her training to become a Qualified, registered, Veterinary Nurse. This two year intensive course together with her practical skills gained at Oakfield has given Sara the qualifications and experience necessary to become one of our most prominent young professionals in the midlands veterinary industry to date.
After 8 years at Oakfield and never really ‘leaving’ Hawksmoor, Sara joined Hawksmoor full time as Centre Manager. She is the Hawksmoor Senior Hydrotherapist and is responsible for a very wide client database. Post-operative patients will be referred to Sara initially and local veterinary surgeons will be given regular feedback reports giving clinical development of recovery.
Sara has achieved the Level 3 Certificate in Hydrotherapy for Small Animals.
Sara is an obvious animal lover who has a Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen (a French gigolo) called HERBI. Herbi is a cheeky chappy who is often found harassing Sue’s stunning Golden Retriever GRACE.
